During this programme, you will learn to combine data science with economic knowledge by the multidisciplinary approach of the bachelor programme. It combines various business domains such as data science (computer science, artificial intelligence, statistics, and mathematics) with business and economic research (finance, accounting, marketing, and information-management). After you obtained you bachelor degree, you developed a solid expertise to solve complex business cases by combining your obtained business knowledge with your analytical capabilities to process large amounts of data.
In the first two years of your study, you follow several core courses like mathematical analysis, statistics, marketing and business analytics, programming and operations management. During the first two years of Business Analytics, you will focus on applying your freshly learned knowledge to various domains such as machine learning and informatics. In this way, you will acquire the skills to solve complex business problems, improve business practices and discover technological trends and related business opportunities. The third study year leaves more room to study courses of your own interest by the ability to choose courses from a diverse range of electives and to pursue your dreams during the semester abroad.
