Dutch scholarships at Universities and Universties of Applied Sciences

The Netherlands offer international students several scholarships. You should check if there is one that could be appropriate for you.

But you should keep in mind that none of these scholarships will cover anything like the cost of your studies! In addition, you do not know beforehand whether you will receive a scholarship. You must have enrolled for a study programme before you can apply for a scholarship.

That means a scholarship is not your financial basis but can be an addition.

Tip:

On your university's website you will find further information on what scholarships might come into question for you. And you can ask at your university's international office. They can help you with your application. Link zu der neuen Seite

NN Future Matters Scholarship

This scholarship is intended for students from several European countries, Turkey included. You have to study a full time master's degree programme in special fields of economy at a participating Dutch research university.

Another important application criterion: You are a first-generation academic; your parents don’t hold a university degree.

The scholarship consists of € 5,000 (Turkish students receive a higher amount as they have to pay the non-EU tuition fees) and you will be matched with a mentor who will coach you throughout your studies.

MSP is meant for a specific target group only: professionals nominated by their employer, coming from specified countries of the Middle East and North Africa and studying in specified short courses in the Netherlands.
