Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Geography and Planning or a a related field, valued at 3 years of Dutch academic training.
Other requirements
Grade point average (GPA) of at least an A /4.0 (American system), a first class honours degree (British system), B (ECTS system), 7.5 (Dutch system).
Objectives:
It prepares students for an academic career or a career in applied research.
Subjects:
approaches towards human geography, spatial planning and international development. understanding advanced research methods and techniques such as international fieldwork, logistic regression, principal component analysis, and discourse analysis.
Modes of instruction:
Seminars and tutorials with supervision by specialists devoted to the in-depth study of a variety of topics. Supervised individual research resulting in a thesis. All classes are taught in small groups, with a maximum of 20 students.
