Bachelor in theology or religious studies or Bachelor in a related area.

Objectives:
The programme prepares for filling positions for which academic research skills and experience in the field of theology and religious studies are required competences; and for employment independent research in the public or private sector in either purely academic or applied research.

Subjects:
Three core modules in the field of theology and religious studies:
1) history of theology and religious studies;
2) religious traditions: groups and individuals;
3) material aspects of religion. Optional modules: research classes in the area of biblical studies and hermeneutics or in the area of religion in the modern world. Research traineeship. Thesis/research proposal.

Modes of instruction:
Lectures, tutorials, work groups.
