Study options in the Netherlands

There are three major options for studying in the Netherlands:

1. a short-term course of 1 or 2 semesters (half-terms) in the frame of a bi-national, study-abroad program
   
2. a full-time study program in the Netherlands
   
3. a further education program, following a completed university degree.

Study programs such as physiotherapy, ergotherapy, nursing and speech therapy offered in the Netherlands vary from the ones offered in Germany for example. In Holland are those programs with Universities of Applied Sciences niveau compared.
